Hello, and thanks for having me. A little about me, well, I am 46, and live in Norfolk, England with my fiancé. Wildlife conservation, writing, and horses are my biggest passions. I love to cook, but then I would say that as I used to work as a chef, many moons ago. I like nothing better than sitting in my garden in the summer and relaxing, reading a good book.

It’s only Tuesday and already I don’t know where this week is going.
I forgot to update yesterday. No excuses, I just forgot. I have an update set on my calendar, which I also receive an email about, and I still forgot.

‘It’s gotta beat,’ Richard started looking over at her desk and seeing nothing in front of her. ‘Well, it has to beat nothing.’
Week 16, already. It’s scary how quick this year is going.
It’s been a busy gaming weekend in my house, the postman came through so there has been some Final Fantasy action going on, and some Borderlands, some Sims, and lots of writing.

So my postman came, and with him came Final Fantasy Type 0 and the XV demo (and Borderlands!).
This will be a short review, because firstly the demo is short, and secondly, it’s a demo.
So far, though, Final Fantasy XV looks amazing.
Sam stumbled back as another body pushed past her, ignoring her as she stood still starring up at the sky, snapping photos of the Chinese lanterns which were strung above her head, letting the light from the bright sun stream through their orange paper. She had to admit she was amazed; she had only been to the Kota Kinabalu market last week, and it hadn’t been anything like how it she saw it now.
For those who follow me on twitter (@icewrites) or click the link to the side, you will see I’v had a very busy Easter weekend. A small trip to the shops between the partner and I, and some very good sales, resulted in a nice haul.

If you read Monday’s post (30/3/15) then you would’ve seen me talk about revisiting an old novel called Surviving Tomorrow. This is a romance novel, and while I mostly focus my time of sci-fi and dystopian, I thought it would be fun to go back and rewrite or edit.
Here is the first 500 words of my now:
The doorbell rang throughout the house. Jonas grabbed the toy guns off the kitchen table and hurried his sons into the front room. He crouched down and they copied him.
‘So who are we aiming for?’ Jonas asked.
